Before joining Oracle, I was an Oracle customer, part of one of the first mid-sized organizations to integrate JD Edwards with Oracle Sales Cloud. As an early adopter, I experienced firsthand both the promise of emerging technology and the challenges of bringing it to life, including a failed implementation that taught me one of the most important lessons of my career:

Technology alone does not transform a business. People do.

Successful transformation requires more than the right technology. It demands executive alignment, effective change management, user adoption, strong governance, and an unwavering focus on business outcomes.

I later joined Oracle, where I spent years helping customers navigate these same challenges. Having experienced transformation from the customer’s perspective, I brought a practical, empathetic, and outcome-driven approach to every engagement—helping organizations maximize the value of their technology investments and achieve their strategic objectives.

More recently, I experienced the impact of AI-driven transformation firsthand when Oracle introduced digital capabilities that eliminated my role. Rather than viewing this solely as a personal setback, I recognized it as a defining moment in the evolution of how organizations operate, how work gets done, and how businesses create value.

It reinforced my belief that organizations need more than AI tools. They need a clear strategy, responsible governance, effective change management, and a workforce equipped to adapt and succeed.
